Privacy Policy – KELDUMI RADIO
Last updated: September 19, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how KELDUMI Studio (“we”, “us”, or “our”) handles information in connection with the KELDUMI RADIO Android application.
1. App and developer
App: KELDUMI RADIO
Android package: gr.radioarvilla.rav
Developer: KELDUMI Studio
Privacy contact: support@keldumi.com
Website: https://keldumi.com/
2. Accounts
KELDUMI RADIO does not require or provide a KELDUMI user account for ordinary use of the app. We do not maintain a server-side KELDUMI RADIO listener profile or account database.
3. Radio streaming and network information
KELDUMI RADIO connects to third-party internet radio streams and metadata services selected by the app. To deliver a stream, those external providers and network infrastructure may receive standard network information such as the device IP address, request headers and connection timestamps. The app does not intentionally transmit your name, email address, contacts or precise GPS location to radio stream providers.
4. Google Mobile Ads / AdMob
Advertising-enabled versions of KELDUMI RADIO use the Google Mobile Ads SDK (AdMob). According to Google, the Mobile Ads SDK may automatically collect and share data for advertising, analytics and fraud-prevention purposes, including:
- IP address, which may be used to estimate approximate location;
- app interactions, such as app launches, taps and ad interactions;
- diagnostic information relating to app and SDK performance; and
- device or other identifiers, including the Android advertising ID where available, app set ID and related identifiers.
Google states that Mobile Ads SDK data is encrypted in transit using TLS. Google processes this information under its own terms and policies. See the Google Privacy Policy and Google Advertising Technologies.
5. Consent and privacy choices
Advertising-enabled versions use the Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) to request updated consent information and display privacy messages where required. Ads are requested only when the UMP consent state allows ad requests.
Where Google requires a privacy-options entry point, KELDUMI RADIO provides an in-app option that lets the user reopen the Google privacy-options form and manage available advertising/privacy choices.
6. Audio visualizer permission
KELDUMI RADIO can display a reactive waveform/visualizer based on the audio that is currently playing in the app. Android requires the RECORD_AUDIO runtime permission for the platform Visualizer API used by this feature.
KELDUMI RADIO uses this permission only to analyse the app’s current playback audio session on the device for visual animation. The app does not use this feature to create microphone recordings, store voice recordings, or upload microphone/visualizer audio data to KELDUMI Studio or advertising services. If the user declines this permission, radio playback remains available and the visualizer can operate in a degraded/non-capture state.
7. Local music library
The optional My Music feature can request access to audio files on the device using Android media permissions such as READ_MEDIA_AUDIO (or the corresponding legacy storage permission on older Android versions). This access is used to browse and play music files locally on the device.
Local music file contents, file names, artist/album metadata and folder information accessed by this feature are processed locally by KELDUMI RADIO and are not intentionally uploaded to KELDUMI Studio or to Google Mobile Ads by this feature.
8. Cast / nearby devices
The optional Cast feature can request NEARBY_WIFI_DEVICES and related Wi-Fi/network permissions to discover compatible Cast receivers on the user’s local network. KELDUMI RADIO uses Android network-service discovery and a local Cast-compatible connection for this purpose. The nearby-device permission is declared with neverForLocation; the app does not use it to obtain precise device location.
When the user starts casting, the app communicates with the selected receiver on the local network and sends the information necessary to load and control the selected radio stream.
9. Notifications, background playback and alarms
KELDUMI RADIO may request notification permission so that media playback controls can be shown while radio or local music is playing. It may also use foreground media-playback services and wake-lock capabilities to keep user-requested audio playback working correctly.
The optional wake-up alarm feature can request exact-alarm scheduling permission and stores the selected alarm time/channel locally on the device. These settings are not maintained in a KELDUMI server-side user account.
10. Local preferences and listening history
The app stores certain settings locally using Android application storage, including items such as language preference, selected channel, favorites, recently played channels/tracks, sleep timer settings, waveform preferences and other interface/playback state.
These local preferences are used to provide app functionality and are not intentionally uploaded to KELDUMI Studio. Users can remove local app data through Android app settings or by uninstalling the app.
11. Personalised and non-personalised advertising
Depending on the user’s region, consent choices, device settings and Google policy, ads may be personalised, non-personalised or otherwise limited. KELDUMI Studio does not independently build advertising profiles from radio listening history.
12. Data sharing
KELDUMI Studio does not sell personal information. Information may be processed or transmitted to service providers only as necessary for internet radio delivery, advertising, consent management, security, diagnostics and user-requested app functionality. Google Mobile Ads may collect and share data as described in Google’s SDK documentation and privacy policies.
13. Information not intentionally collected by KELDUMI Studio
KELDUMI RADIO does not require a listener to provide a name, postal address, phone number, contact list, financial information, health information or precise GPS location in order to listen to radio channels.
14. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures appropriate to the app’s operation. Supported external services are accessed using secure transport where available. Google states that data collected by the Google Mobile Ads SDK is encrypted in transit using TLS.
15. Retention and deletion
KELDUMI Studio does not maintain a KELDUMI RADIO listener account database. App preferences and optional listening-history information stored by KELDUMI RADIO remain locally on the device until cleared by the user, reset through Android settings or removed when the app is uninstalled.
Data processed by Google, radio stream providers or other independent service providers is retained according to those providers’ own policies and legal obligations. Privacy enquiries concerning information directly controlled by KELDUMI Studio may be sent to support@keldumi.com.
16. Children
KELDUMI RADIO is not designed as a child-directed service and does not provide a KELDUMI child account system. If a future distribution targets age groups subject to additional Google Play Families requirements, the app and advertising configuration will be adjusted to comply with those requirements before that distribution.
17. International processing
Third-party service providers may process information on servers located in different countries. Their processing is governed by their own privacy terms and applicable law.
18. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when KELDUMI RADIO features, permissions, advertising configuration, third-party services or legal requirements change. The “Last updated” date will be revised when material changes are made.
